Artemia 50% – Superfood for your fish
50% Artemia make this complete feed for almost all freshwater and saltwater fish an absolutely unique speciality. Here the name really lives up to its promise.
With the granulates listed below, your ornamental fish receive an optimal nutrient supply through the combination of 50% pure artemia and valuable plant proteins, vitamins, minerals and high-quality fatty acids.
As crustaceans, Artemia are a wonderfully natural source of nutrients. The high chitin content also supports intestinal cleaning.
Through full extrusion, the nutrients in the 50% Artemia granules are optimally broken down, which facilitates feed conversion and leads to a reduction in the usual amount of feed.
In conventional production processes with high temperatures and pressures, the structure of feed flakes and granulates is destroyed and thus ineffective. In the production of our Artemia 50% granules, the heat-sensitive components are only added after the base mass has cooled, so that a very low-germ feed is produced, which is still effective for example in vitamins and probiotics and passes them on to the fish.
Artemia 50% Flat Granulate:
“Don’t call it flake!”…
…, because this is a granulate in form of a flake. Extrusion makes it possible to produce a product that is as germ-free as possible. All pressure- and heat-sensitive components are only added after this manufacturing step, so that they retain their structure and thus remain completely effective. The stable and relatively large shape of the individual, flake-like granulates and the special sinking behaviour promote rapid acceptance. Even delicate wild-caught discus begin to eat greedily of the flat granulate after a short period of getting used to it, thanks to the high feed quality and the special sinking and swimming behavior.
Of course, there is nothing to prevent the granulate from being crushed and offered to all other types of aquarium fish, regardless of size. Another advantage of the relatively long surface dwell time is that even very timid and shy surface eaters can be supplied. This makes it easier, for example, to feed on new stock.
The proportion of 50% pure artemia is an argument in itself in comparison to other, conventional feed types. In combination with valuable plant proteins, vitamins, minerals and high-quality fatty acids, a complete staple food is created, suitable for almost all freshwater and saltwater fish. Please always pay attention to the feeding recommendations as they can be found on every can.
Artemia 50% Softgranulat
The softening prevents the granulate from swelling in the aquarium water or in the digestive tract of the fish and at the same time increases the acceptance of the feed. The grain size of approx. 1 mm qualifies the soft granulate primarily for smaller to medium-sized ornamental fish species.
Artemia 50% soft granulate XL, approx. 1.5 – 2 mm, is suitable for medium to large fish.
Experience has shown that Artemia 50% soft granules not only go down well with ornamental fish, but many shrimp lovers have also discovered this rich complete feed for themselves, respectively their darlings.
Artemia 50% Microgranulat Soft
The softening prevents the granulate from swelling in the aquarium water or in the digestive tract of the fish and at the same time increases the acceptance of the feed. With an average grain size of less than 0.5 mm, this complete food is ideal for the efficient breeding of fish larvae and young animals and can help even the smallest representatives, such as larvae of Bettas or Corydoras, to become “large and strong”. Since the fine granules are distributed almost evenly throughout the entire tank, the supply of the largest possible number of young animals is guaranteed.
