A ideia partiu de Udo Thr\u00e4n, Diretor-Geral da Discusfood manufactur. O log\u00f3tipo deveria ser o Discus, que est\u00e1 inclu\u00eddo na marca registada do log\u00f3tipo. Foi assim que surgiu a ideia, que agora tinha de ser concretizada. Foi a\u00ed que entrou o meu amigo e s\u00f3cio Michael an Haack, que \u00e9 designer e redesenhou o nosso log\u00f3tipo para criar os trof\u00e9us. Para ele, foi uma quest\u00e3o simples, pois normalmente desenha lumin\u00e1rias de alta tecnologia. Depois da constru\u00e7\u00e3o, entrou em a\u00e7\u00e3o a minha filha Sofie, que realizou este projeto com a nossa empresa na China e os cortou a laser a partir de chapas e depois os galvanizou.
